Vinny is in the house...

Last night, after a long, long journey, Vinny, AKA umkinda arrived at the Salem commuter train station at 10 PM. We went directly from the train station to Bangcock Paradise, a local Thai / Sushi restaurant, where we dined on Larb Nur (a spicy beef dish) and various sushi and sashimi.

Today, we walked around town, had breakfast at the Hawthorne Hotel, where duncan02 joined us, then we all headed off to the Peabody / Essex Museum, where I snapped this photo (run-on-run-on sentence!):


After the museum, lehartski joined up with us and we all headed over to Passage to India, an excellent Indian restaurant.

Now, Vinny is re-installing Tiger on his Mac, and I'm waiting for the pet sitter to stop by.
